Spartak Subbota is the holder of PhD in medical psychology.

Psychotherapist in cognitive behavioral therapy, scientist, and specialist in the field of mental health, psychotherapy and psychiatry.
Master’s degree in «Clinical psychology and therapeutic mediation», Université De Nice – Université Côte d’Azur (France).

Graduated from Ukrainian Institute of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Postdoctoral researcher (the scientific degree of Doctor of Psychological Sciences) at the G.S. Kostyiuk Institute of Psychology of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.

Completed the study program of American Psychological Association (Office of Continuing Education in Psychology):

– Stopping Suicide in the Military.
– Psychologists’ Roles in Helping to Treat Opioid-Use Disorders and Prevent Overdoses.
– How Does Implicit Bias by Physicians Affect Patients’ Health Care?

As a scientist Spartak Subbota carries out experimental researches in the area of scientific subjects of Kostiuk Institute of Psychology, at General and Medical Psychology Department of Bohomolets National Medical University and World Association for the Support of Scientists (the USA).
Key researches of Spartak Subbota are devoted to the problem of clinical and neuropsychological determination of individual’s rehabilitation potential, such as nosospecificity and rehabilitation potential prognosis for individuals with neurotic disorders and somatogenic disorders.

According to the results of his thesis research the rehabilitation potential of an individual is presented as an integral unit with resource-anticipatory essence, which is caused by clinical and neuropsychological predispositions and individual psychological features.

On the principles of his neuropsychological research, the peculiarities of rehabilitation potential were objectified and differentiated in:

• neurotic deficient individuals with functional weakening of the dorsolateral part of the brain prefrontal cortex, with functional weakening of the orbito-frontal part of the brain prefrontal cortex, with functional weakening of the ventromedial part of the brain prefrontal cortex, with functional weakening of the anterior cingulate cortex of the brain;
• relatively normotypic individuals with somatogeny with functional enhancement of the dorsolateral part of the brain prefrontal cortex, with functional enhancement of orbito-frontal part of the brain prefrontal cortex, with functional enhancement of ventromedial part of the brain prefrontal cortex, with with functional enhancement of anterior cingulate cortex of the brain;
• deficient individuals with somatogenies with functional weakening of the dorsolateral part of the brain prefrontal cortex, with functional weakening of orbito-frontal part of the brain prefrontal cortex, with functional weakening of ventromedial part of the brain prefrontal cortex, with functional weakening of the anterior cingulate cortex of the brain.
